Operations
Our Operations Department is split into 3 distinct entities - Commercial Operations, Ride and Hospitality.
Commercial Operations
If you join our Commercial Operations team then you'll rotate through 3 distinct aspects of our business - giving you a real breadth of experience and variety in your day-to-day work.
Admissions - London Eye Admissions staff manage our sophisticated booking system, work on the main tills and serve daily walk-up visitors. Customer service and appearance are vital, as Admissions staff are the first point of contact for most guests.
Gift Shop - Between 11.00am - 5.00pm, the London Eye is at its busiest, with thousands of visitors. The Gift Shop usually fills with people buying souvenirs and other items during these peak hours. The most popular merchandise sold in the gift shop includes London Eye models, picture postcards and t-shirts. The In-flight mini guides and guidebooks are also very sought after, with one in ten visitors buying a guidebook.
Information desk - Working on our Information Desk you'll be London Eye's friendly face for tens of hundreds of people a day - whether they're visiting the Eye or just passing by. It's a busy place, but you'll get a real buzz from helping with a wide variety of enquiries.
Ride
Operation of the London Eye never stops. Our Ride department ensures continuous operation is as smooth as possible, managing large groups of visitors and queues, both in the queue area and on the boarding platform of the Eye. The department also manages all ride operating systems, ensuring a safe and comfortable ride.
Hospitality
This area of our business is responsible for the smooth running of the London Eye River Cruise Experience, Discovery flights, Champagne flights, private capsules, weddings and civil ceremonies. Basically everything we do where we provide more of a hands on service, our Hospitality department are the people that ensure our customers are delighted every moment of their time with us.
